Midwest Veterans Outreach and store

The first thing I want to say is the gentleman that runs this thrift store is amazing and so kind hearted. He went above and beyond for me and my husband the other day. I have seen this thrift store for a while now but I assumed that it was only to help veterans. I appreciate all the help I've received and will definitely be sending more people their way. I never thought I would get the medical equipment I needed because of my financial situation. I can't express my gratitude enough. Thank you.

This is an AWESOME thrift store! James puts in endless hours at the store. He’s there on holidays, early, late, and everything in between. He truly cares about our veterans and will do anything he can to help them meet their needs. The store is more of a “guys” thrift store. Yes, there are some household items, but very little in the way of clothing which is GREAT because that would ruin the specialness of this place. My husband has found many treasures there in the tools. USA made vintage abounds. Prices aren’t marked, but they are VERY reasonable. Plus you know that your purchase is going to help our local veterans whom we owe our thanks to. Don’t forget to pet “Brandy”, the stores K9 mascot and therapy dog.

Love this store! The variety of new and gently items you can't find anywhere else, (craft supplies, some furniture, knick knacks, antiques, all kinds of Military Gear and merchandise and the owner is a great guy with the Best interest for our local Veterans. Helping them by being strictly self funded. Helps veterans directly and their immediately famillies in ways other places can't or won't.
